Soups are flash-frozen for peak freshness and need to be reheated for consumption. Instructions are included. You can also get it hot with 15 minutes' notice. The Chef and founder, Dave Riva of Massy Soups, is the grandson of Marlene Dietrich. During his lifetime, he has spent many hours with both her and his mother, Maria Riva, learning the most important family tradition - cooking. Both women were a huge influence on Dave, and he became a member of the Slow-food movement many years ago. Our soups are perhaps a throwback to earlier days in one way, but at the same time reflect a more cutting-edge trend of improving our complex nutritional needs. Regardless, the result is superior, targeted nutrition, unrivaled taste, and rediscovered comfort.
